Day 6: Valentines Day Rush!

Today was extra special because it was Valentine’s Day, and Jollibee was busier than ever. Couples, families, and groups of friends filled the store, all eager to celebrate with their favorite meals. Many customers ordered Jollibee’s Valentine’s promo meals, which included heart-shaped pies and special drinks. I had to be extra careful assembling orders, making sure everything looked presentable. Despite the festive mood, the pressure was intense. Orders kept coming in non-stop, and the line at the counter seemed endless. Some customers requested handwritten messages on their trays, while others asked for extra ketchup and napkins for their dates. The team kept the energy high, occasionally sharing jokes and helping each other out. A sweet moment happened when a customer proposed to his girlfriend right in front of the counter. Everyone clapped, and the Jollibee mascot even joined in the celebration!. At the end of the shift, I was exhausted but happy. The rush was worth it because we made so many customers’ Valentine’s Day special. It was a unique experience that showed me how food can bring people together in the most heartwarming ways.
