Day 10: Our Last Day!

Image
On my last day, I had a short evaluation with the manager, where I received feedback on my performance. I reflected on what I learned about customer service, teamwork, and food handling. The experience gave me a better understanding of the fast-food industry and the importance of hard work and dedication. I thanked my coworkers for guiding me and realized how much effort goes into serving fast food. This experience taught me responsibility and the importance of working efficiently in a team.

Day 9: More comfortable in my tasks!

Although my job was mainly assembling orders, I started interacting more with customers, answering quick questions about their orders and making sure they were satisfied before leaving. This made my job feel more rewarding. I helped restock supplies in the kitchen and dining area. I observed how employees check inventory and keep track of food items. I also learned the importance of proper food storage and labeling to avoid waste.

Day 8: Enjoying My Tasks!

I was now more comfortable and confident in my role. During dinner rush, I managed to assemble orders quickly without errors. I also learned to stay calm under pressure and assist my teammates when needed.   I experienced working during peak hours, which tested my speed and ability to stay calm under pressure. I assisted in multiple areas, including order taking, cleaning tables, and helping in the kitchen. I saw how teamwork is crucial in handling a large number of customers.

Day 7: Drive-thru experience!

I rotated to the drive-thru station, where speed was even more important. I had to coordinate with the cashier and kitchen crew to ensure that car orders were complete before handing them out. It was a fun but fast-paced experience.   Some orders got mixed up, and I had to act fast to fix them. I learned how to communicate with my team effectively to solve mistakes. I also started helping new trainees, sharing what I had learned.

Day 6: Valentines Day Rush!

Today was extra special because it was Valentine’s Day, and Jollibee was busier than ever. Couples, families, and groups of friends filled the store, all eager to celebrate with their favorite meals. Many customers ordered Jollibee’s Valentine’s promo meals, which included heart-shaped pies and special drinks. I had to be extra careful assembling orders, making sure everything looked presentable. Despite the festive mood, the pressure was intense. Orders kept coming in non-stop, and the line at the counter seemed endless. Some customers requested handwritten messages on their trays, while others asked for extra ketchup and napkins for their dates. The team kept the energy high, occasionally sharing jokes and helping each other out. A sweet moment happened when a customer proposed to his girlfriend right in front of the counter. Everyone clapped, and the Jollibee mascot even joined in the celebration!. At the end of the shift, I was exhausted but happy. The rush was worth it because we ...

Day 5: Being more multitasker

Today, I had to assemble orders with special requests, like no ice in drinks or extra gravy. I learned to pay close attention to these details to avoid customer complaints. I also improved my multitasking skills.

Day 4: Helping my teammates on dining

Lunch hour was intense, with a long line of customers. I had to assemble orders quickly while staying organized. I learned to double-check each tray before passing it to the cashier.
